Ming Sate Hut

 ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥  | $ $ $ $ $

My sis has been craving for Hainanese Satay so yesterday we headed to Ming Sate Hut for lunch. Hainanese satay is not cheap. A normal meal of Wan Tan Noodles here in Melaka will cost you on average RM 3.50 - RM4, so at 70 cents a stick, a meal at a satay house could cost up to ..... well that depends on how much you eat. I normally can polish off about 15-20 sticks. My dad can easily eat 40 sticks!

Having a break with Yubari Melon Kit Kat!

It has been a long day at work so the first thing I did when I got home was to go to the fridge and take out my Yubari Melon Kit Kat which I bought from Japan. Yes from the fridge or else they will melt in the humid weather in Malaysia.

I love the malty chocolate coating in this with a slight hint of Yubari melon between the crispy wafers!

My new favorite kit kat flavor though is Strawberry. I know it's pretty boring considering all the unique flavours they have out there but my taste buds just loves this!!

Celebrating the festivities : Macau

My first time to Macau and I love it here. Two nights is certainly not enough to explore this unique city where historic buildings are almost located side by side with gigantic casinos and high end stores.

If you only have a chance to eat one item while in Macau it must be the Portugese Egg Tart! These were just awesome! Sweet and creamy with a hint of saltiness.

Hokkaido - I miss you

Konichiwa (Good Afternoon) dear readers.

Just a quick update to let you know that I have landed safely back in Malaysia although my heart is still in Hokkaido. We had a fabulous trip! Beautiful scenery, good food, playing in the snow, surviving a snow storm, onsen (hot spring) and food shopping! I can't wait to go back and explore more of Japan.

I am just finishing up on my 'Celebrating the festivities: Macau' post which should be out later today before getting started on my Hokkaido trip.

Before I sign off here is a little preview of my trip via photos taken from my iphone4s.
