Canton-i

Greetings from Malaysia. The weather is hot and humid here where even indoors with no air-conditioning I'm perspiring like crazy. My first day back and I find myself in Sunway Pyramid, one of the many shopping centres (yay for air-conditioning) in KL for lunch and of course some shopping!

Canton-i specialises in Hong Kong cuisine and have popped up in major shopping centres in KL as well as one in ION Orchard Singapore. For more information on outlets click here.

Lets get to the food. We ordered a plate of mixed meats to share. From left to right, Roast Duck, Char Siu and Roast Pork. My favourite was the roast duck.

To go with the meats I had ordered Plain Wanton Noodles (Dry). Like pasta, wanton noodles shouldn't be over cooked and these were cooked just right.

Mum had ordered the Fish & Pork Ball Porridge. Canton-i combines the fish and pork into one ball. The porridge was nice and smooth but I didn't get the chance to try the fish/pork balls.

Steamed Rice Flour with Dough Fritters. The rice flour coating was nice and thin but was let down by the cold dough fritters.
